Two months in, where I’m at and what I’ve learned so far
Post Body

I started with 0 following and knew nothing about OnlyFans whatsoever.

Just recently, I dropped under the 1% of top creators mark. I’ve gained 11k followers on Instagram. I was also reached out to by a talent agent for Playboy.

These are all things I could’ve never dreamed of happening. This community taught me to keep my expectations as a beginner low. I’m so glad I did; it has so far kept me feeling extremely grateful for where I am and has motivated me to reach my highest potential. I’m proud of where I’m at, but in my eyes, I still have so much to learn. I will always believe I have more to learn.

For example, I had accepted help from an agency just two weeks ago—huge mistake. Thankfully, I’m working on separating from them, and they no longer have access to my account. I foolishly believed they were a rare find of a good agency due to their high follower count (1 million), list of models, and 30% management fee; however, they were, in fact, just like every other agency. I could tell very quickly that their “trained” chatters were simply workers from asian countries who accepted extremely low pay rates. They couldn’t speak proper English, spammed my subscribers like crazy, and they ignored my subscribers when they were trying to have serious conversations about life! It was outrageous. Agencies only see their models and subscribers as money generators. They do not care that your reputation is on the line. They will do ANYTHING to earn as much as possible. Don’t let anyone take ownership of you and your body.

In terms of marketing and promotion, I’ve found Instagram to be AMAZING. Reels are what you need to be posting. Post multiple a day, and GIVE IT TIME! My account was losing followers at such a high rate when I first started posting consistently. After a month, my account finally started to gain hundreds of followers a day. When I began OnlyFans, Reddit was what gave my account a head start. There are so many subreddits you can post on and gain some recognition on. Please do not spam the same title and image in tons of subreddits though 😭 it comes off poorly.

Also, my social media posts are always somewhat tame, my main OF feed is mild, and my DMs offer all of the very explicit content. This gives my subscribers a reason to spend.

In my opinion, money should not be your main driving point in this industry. You probably won’t stay in the field very long if that’s the case. This industry requires you to take pride in what you do and own it. You need to be able to handle massive amounts of hate on the daily from strangers, friends, and even family. You need to be prepared to do TONS of research and experimentation. There are so many downsides to SW.

Finally, I’d like to add that AUTHENTICITY IS KEY!! My subscribers are incredibly understanding and loyal to me since I’ve built genuine connections with them and I show that I’m a real person through live-streaming. We are all human at the end of the day. Do not view your subscribers simply as wallets. They are your community.

Any responses to this are welcome—positive or negative. I love and appreciate everyone in this subreddit <3

Thanks for writing in! So happy to hear that you’ve gotten this much traction so quickly! May I ask, what type of promo did you find to be the most beneficial? You mentioned IG but did you do any paid promo? I’d love to know what subreddits you also found to be worthwhile. Thank you!
