I tried OF before but I literally saw zero dollars. The tech layoffs were brutal even with a masters degree. Trying to do everything on my own was so exhausting to my mental health but at the time I was throwing anything at the wall cause I had no money otherwise.

It’s looking like I’ll be landing something soon and will have an income stream again, I’m thinking of going back to OF, and using some of my day job money to just pay to resolve the pain points I had to begin with. Namely, the fact that I know nothing about cameras and how editing videos is a whooole thing. Think of it as a reinvestment of funds.

I really did love certain aspects of doing porn. And I would love to specialize in just fucking a lot and fan interaction. Having someone else handle how the lighting is supposed to look and chopping clips together would be greatly beneficial. Even if it means operating at a loss for a while you gotta spend money to make money

Anyway has this been a strategy any of yall have taken? Just paying to handle the logistical end to focus on performance? How did you find your videographers? What is a normal rate to pay them?
