I've very recently decided to try to get into networking. Meaning finding similar creators to me on Instagram with the intention of working together (Story Posts for example).

I'm still very small on Instagram with just over 700 Followers so naturally I'm trying to look for profiles with around 1k Followers but boy did I underestimate how impossible it seems to find similar content to mine. Instagram only shows the most popular posts under hashtags and therefore only showing creators with already massive following, they won't have any incentive to work with me.

I've discovered that there are Instagram niche-finders, but they're like 300$ a month which seems just hilarious to me.

Now I don't want you to make my research for me but what I am curious about. How did you start out? Can you give me a nudge in the right direction? Been researching for 3 hours now and can't really show anything for it.
