This is absolutely true. If professionals (agricultural workers in the off season in their home country) are willing to come here temporarily, to do very hard work for us, and it is beneficial to them and the program has good oversight and resources for workers then we SHOULD go with that option and there's no reason we can't.

Also, locals simply will not do these jobs. You can't force them to. Is the military going to do it? Where is the workforce for this? Skinny fat college students on summer break? Citizens and residents kept in a cycle of precarious employment? Hell no. It doesn't work.
