Is there a way to interface with the GT without use of the app?

Got my GT yesterday and it's riding just fine, but I cannot get the app to interface with the board. It recognizes the GT, but when I click on it, it tells me Online Activation Failed. I tried repeatedly yesterday, and again today with the same results.

I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the app, power cycled the board several times, as well as any other troubleshooting steps I could think of or find online.

I've submitted a ticket for support with Future Motion, but in the meantime, I'm wondering if I have any way to change the profiles or access the board without a smartphone connection.
