Recently purchased original Onewheel

So I always saw the onewheel as a kid and was infatuated with it. Ofc my parents would never shell out that type of cash though. So now that Iām in college and needed something to commute, I got the older one for nostalgia. But now when I look deeper im seeing recalls, deaths, non-user error nosedives and all the other shit. So from people who actually ride these regularly am I fucked?
