So I was super excited to get the OP5 and it finally arrived today. I knew everything about it would be awesome and the only thing I was still worried about was the camera.
I currently have a Nexus 6P and I'm pretty happy with the camera quality. I was thinking, as long as the camera is at least just as good, I'm great.
...... Well the camera on the OP5 is not bad. Just slightly worse than the 6P imo.
There seems to be more noise in general (when the light is less than perfect), and the dynamic range is not as good.
I really wanted to like the OP5 camera but since this is the main thing I care about in a phone, it's not really an upgrade.
Besides this the phone is everything else that you've seen online! Snappy AF, fast AF, well built AF! So if you're ok with a camera which is really close to 6P's you're good.
