OnePlus 9 5G - some phone calls are very scrambled/garbled, but not all calls

When certain people call me, I.E. my boss or lawyer, it is always scrambled. However when other people, such as my girlfriend or mom call me it is fine. I have asked the people who it is scrambled for if other people have this issue and they state it is only me. As I am typing this out though, I realize it is almost only people using landlines to call me, that I am having this issue with. Also I use my speaker for music and video daily with no audio quality issues.

Any idea what is causing this issue, or any ways to resolve it?
