A few questions about rules
Post Body

Hello!

Firstly, I wanted to mention that I love One Page Rules! I have been playing 40k in the 8th and 9th edition and just got tired of the constant rules bloat and new codex imbalance so I quit for a few years. A friend showed me OPR and we've played 4 or 5 games in Grimdark Future and all of them have been great and very close games!

But I do have a few questions about the GF rules I couldn't find an answer to:

  1. Shaken Casters. Can they support other casters or deny enemy spells when they have shaken condition?
  2. Also about Shaken. In the rules it states that Shaken units automatically fail morale. So would that mean that if you charge a Shaken unit and you win the fight, it automatically routs?
  3. If you have a Hero attached to a unit and the whole unit gets destroyed, but the Hero was untouched. Do you need to roll morale?
  4. I'm not too sure on how the line of sight works with buildings. If you have a piece of ruins with some windows - can units see through them freely? I mean if there two opposing units on different sides of the building, neither of them is inside. Can they see and shoot each other through the windows or open doors? Or can they only "see into" the units inside the building?
  5. Stratagems. The first two universal stratagems where they add 1 to a single die or the whole roll. Do you need to activate this stratagem before roll or can you do it after you see what you have rolled?
  6. Following up the previous point - what would be counted as a single roll? If I have 6 models in a unit and a Hero attached with same profile weapons, can I roll them all at the same time and would that count as a single roll for sake of Supreme Command stratagem?

I'm also interested on what rules besides basic ones do you use for your games?

I like the deployment zones, missions and solid buildings, but from the extra actions I played only with Assault action. It gives a nice boost to the hybrid units, as they are usually more expensive. The others seemed a bit too strong, letting Shaken units take actions or having defensive boosts.
