I recently discovered the world of game jams on itch.io, which are little contests for those unfamiliar (as I was). I entered three, two horror and one generic, and I ended up creating three horror just to keep the theme going. All are free to download:
A Dark Hunt In Black Winter: Set in the 1840’s in the Canadian frontier wilderness, in this one sheet RPG the players each have a dark secret, which will come to haunt them. The Wild Hunt is coming, seeking vengeance in the dark of night. Can the players survive until dawn?
BloodType: A game for two players, one the Game Master, the other the Player. In this game the Player will try to escape a series of rooms, using a gruesome typewriter that can grant limited wishes… with an extreme cost each time. There is one sheet for the player, and then a second sheet for the Game Master's eyes only.
More Meat For The Machine: In this one sheet RPG you play as workers in an Industrial Revolution era factory. Having screwed up in the past few days you are summoned before the bosses. Only instead of the chewing out you expected, you are locked inside a factory that has somehow come to life, and seems dedicated to killing you. Can you escape? Or will you just be More Meat for the Machine.
