Normally I spawn into a very developed city and have very few babies, but in the past three lives I've been Eve twice and had loads of babies (very few of which /died). Why might that be? Is there something I can look for in player numbers per server to control for whether I'm Eve or not? (I have played previously in empty servers to Eve chain, but these times I was on the main server and actually having babies!).
I wasn't playing at especially weird times for where I'm at (UK) or anything, and (having previously been number 1 for a while) I'm at a pretty low genetic fitness score.
Are player numbers dwindling? As we approach European summer, are they increasing? Do lots of people prefer to play in a starter camp? What might account for my recent Eve spawns and babies that don't /die?
