Where is the artificer?

Why does the new book not include the artificer? They said this new book would include all previous classes...
And I don't care if the artificer wasn't in the original PHB, it sure as heck should be in the new one.
While they're at it, why the hesitation to not include any new classes? That would have been worth getting excited about. Instead it's just, "Hey we changed a few things, buy the new book!" Which is asinine.
This new "one D&D" has been very underwhelming for me so far.
