I usually take flipflops with me, and use them when I hang out in me hostel room (doesn't happen often) and for showering. They're thin and dry quick and so perfect for just mostly showering with.
For my next trip I'm gonna do a number of hikes, and would like to bring footwear i can use for both showing and getting in lakes/going for quick swim. I don't want something that takes too much space or weight as I'll also have trail runners for hiking.
Never tried swimming shoes but they look like they'll be too much work to take off and put on during showers. So I'm assuming sandals are what I need
