Attaching sling to backpack?
Post Body

I just got my dragonfly in for a two week trip in the UK. Was planning on bringing my Aer day sling as well and was curious on how people typically travel using the 1.5 set up?

The obvious answer is the sling on front with the backpack on the back, but I found the overlapping straps to be a bit uncomfortable (especially with how thin the dragonfly straps are).

I then remembered I had these magnetic clips and thought’d I try attaching it to the straps. I feel like it works decently well in practice but not sure if it’s the right move?

Thoughts on carrying the sling this way? Anyone else use/swear by this method?

I've seen tons of top loader/holster style camera bags set up like this. Have a look at ThinkTank line for some ideas if you want to improve it. I think the key was having 4 straps instead of 2 so it doesn't flop about and having buckles for quick detach on one side.
