What are the must have items for a week long travel to somewhere that will be 90F (32C) and thunderstorms for the entire trip? No access to laundry. Small female carrying max 40L bag with room for gifts/souvenirs/new clothing. It’ll be my first time internationally OneBagging and I’m really excited!

Post Body

I just looked at the forecast and it’ll be about 90F and thunderstorms the entire trip. I need to bring some specific items for the trip due to the nature of it (I will be training with world champion dancers and need my dance clothes and shoes, but will have free time during the afternoons and evenings). I will also need cute outfits for dinners and going out on the town with local friends. I’m sure there will be a decent amount of partying, social dancing, and touristy days with lots of walking as well.

This is exactly the kind of trip I normally massively overpack for (think check-in roller bag AND carry-on roller bag plus personal item) and I really do NOT want to do all that again. I did a dry run OneBagging in Miami recently for a couple days when it was hot and rainy and felt I learned a lot. Overall it was a success and I learned that my rain jacket is actually pretty decent, but also still overpacked and had multiple things I didn’t even touch on the trip. Not gonna lie, shoes are a big concern for me as I don’t have anything cute with dresses that I can also wear walking all day in the rain and heat.

Any advice welcome! Thanks in advance!
