Once We Were Nomads is an online multiplayer game in which you or a small group of friends fight to survive against the elements and other groups of players. Starting as wandering nomads, your camp develops into a town where it can grow and trade with other player made towns. Structures built in your town attract other players to build houses, and shops, until your town becomes a fully fledged civilization. Players can remain nomads, exploring an infinite procedural world while trading at player made towns, or settle down in a town and produce resources through farming. More ambitious players can become merchants and run player operated shops or use their political skill to unit players and become the leader of a town or civilization.
