Visiting my partner in Olympia in a few weeks. What should we do?

We are in a LDR and I’ll be flying to visit here in a month. He recently moved to the area himself so isn’t too familiar with much in the area. Looking for recommendations on:
-hiking within a 2.5 drive -bookshops (local) -coffee and bakeries -wine and dinner spots -brunch spots -maybe a park to go on a walk -any fun events the weekend of 11/8-11/11
