Tonight I wrapped up my first week serving tables in a long time! I haven't worked in a restaurant in about 6 years so it's been a whole thing of finding my vibe lately. Anyway, a customer left me a review on the ziosk that was so nice that 2 different hostesses mentioned it, followed by my manager.

I really appreciated the positive affirmation. Honestly, after wrapping up training last week, I've sort of been wondering if this crazy fucking job is really worth it... So it meant a lot to be told I was doing a good job... I mean, she also tipped well, and I had a long awaited lucrative evening... so I'm sure that's contributing to my grin tonight. 😁 My closing partner was also just great!
