I have a friend who was sentenced two days ago to Lawton (currently in OK County Jail until processing in Lexington ) Can anyone provide any first hand information on what to expect? For him & myself as a visitor. Is it no contact? Family friendly? Open rec yard?

Please do not ask what he is serving time for as it is irrelevant to my question. He does not know if he will be medium or maximum. I haven’t seen him in a year, have only corresponded through the mail & phone, he wouldn’t let me visit. I told him he does not have a choice now, I will not stay away.

Edit: I don’t know how to strike through. No, I have no actual intentions of forcing him to see me. I just wanted him to know this ordeal is not going to scare me off. Gas is too expensive to go someplace I’m not wanted.
