Two questions here: 1. Is there any kind of thermostat that will make your ac go off periodically instead of it just running & running? Or would that be counterproductive? I used to turn my AC way up (down?) when I’d leave the house for work & my dad said it actually makes it harder on the AC because it has to cool the house down faster. I work from home so I’ll up it gradually through the day, then bring it down a couple degrees at a time after work. I’m comfortable awake at like 80 but I have to have it in the low 70’s to sleep.
- Is it illegal for OG&E to turn off your electricity if it’s over 100? I was thinking I’d heard that but it’s been a long time and I don’t have the memory y’all seem to have.
I’m buying a sprinkler as soon as I can find one less than $20 or I can make myself spend that much on one. As much as I hate to because it will revive the grass. I had every intention this weekend of hanging a big blue tarp from the soffit to drape above the unit but as usual naps happened. Plus there is a wasp nest up there that I don’t know if it’s active or dead. The scary red ones, which I have thankfully not seen in several weeks. Just the blue/black ones, so now I’m terrified of going in the backyard barefooted, which I shouldn’t do anyway.
Now I have a third question: what can I put down in their holes to kill them. I’ll Google that one.
My next house will have a bigger than a jail cell basement. I just want to be put in a coma until October. I hate this. Normally I wouldn’t care but now I have a depressed dog that is used to going places. I need a dog for my dog so they can sulk together.
Ok, I’m done rambling. I’m super bored so I’m going back to sleep until dark so I can walk the dog.
