Hi Oklahoma! I finally made it! I think I will have time to do a hike or two in the next few days as I pass through. I was thinking maybe in the Wichita Mountains or around Broken Bow, but am open to anywhere. I'm having trouble deciding on one since I don't know what OK looks like in the fall (Leafy? Dusty and brown? Fall colors? Etc)
Where is YOUR favorite hike? Why do you love it? Please give approx RT length and elevation gain. Bonus points for photos!
I've been so excited to get to OK! You guys were so enthusiastic with recommendations last time, that it was so fun to sketch out a rough route: OKC, Wichita Mnts, Broken Bow (maaaaybe; it'sout of the way), Tulsa.
