Hey guys,
I have a question on ADA. I’ll be getting a ADA wristband for myself due to a connective tissue disorder I have (I’ve had a lot of knee surgeries) that requires me sitting down pretty often. Walking miles upon miles is really rough on me.
I do not have a handicap placard though for my car, and my group has three cars so even if I did, I don’t think we could even all camp together. As this is my first Okee, I’d obviously rather stay with my group.
I guess my question is, do you know if there are any people who can shuttle you around if need be? I hear the grounds are absolutely massive and some people had to walk like 40 mins to get into the venue from camp….and doing that repeatedly on top of all the walking from stages is going to just do me in. Was trying to bring a bike but we just have no way to transport one. At imagine there was this dude on a golf cart who shuttled me back and forth some when my legs were just done, so was curious if there is someone doing this kinda thing at Okee for campers who can’t camp in the ADA section??
Any tips or people I can chat too that work Okee would be super appreciated. Getting anxious about 4 days of endless walking, cause I want to actually have energy to enjoy the sets. :)
