Property manager vs selling
Post Body

This is hypothetical at this point but I applied for a job that says is remote but the office is in Tulsa, applicant must reside in their territory. I believe I may have marked willing to relocate but I wouldn’t want to until I knew it was going to work out.

I’m a single female, I’m not handy or have adequate funds to make repairs that I’m not responsible for. I know you can let your house be used as a section 8 house but we have one on our street & it’s just pure garbage. I know that could happen with any renter but at least the typical renter may be more responsible.

I’d probably be more inclined to use a property manager unless i find a renter I have an existing relationship with. Does anyone have any recommendations? I assume the property management company would handle all the landlord/tenant hassle. Or would you sublet? I don’t own my home outright, still have a mortgage.

I might be counting my chicks too early but I’d like to be armed. I haven’t considered moving for a job in 20 years. Kinda scared. I do know people in Tulsa that might be cool with me staying with them at first but I wouldn’t want that long term.
