A couple random questions from my childhood growing up in OKC back in the day:)
Post Body

A couple things that my nostalgia for my hometown and childhood (which for some reason seems to peak around this back-to-school and late summer season) have me wondering about: First, there used to be a very mid but fun Italian restaurant downtown through the 2000s or so that we kids sometimes used to go to for special occasions such as school dances and whatnot; it isn't coming up in a Google search so I'm thinking it's since closed. Does anyone remember the name of it? Second is that I remember in the 90s there being in Quail Springs mall a huge room with a big jungle gym/bouncy setup inside, wanna say it was near one of the entrances of the mall I think facing south. Kinda like the sky zone type places we have today. I have so many good memories of coming and playing here as a kid with my cousins when they'd come to visit from Texas. Does anyone else remember that place? Ahhh, OKC memories from my 90s and 2000s childhood. I live out of state now but these memories are frequently on my mind. Also..Going to Tim's in Warr Acres for Indian Tacos. Getting an Indian taco at the State Fair, the name of the company escapes me but I remember it was a male name? Eating at the Chelinos on Boulevard and the Hideaway off of 5th (I think?) in edmond with my earned allowance money or when my single mom who was a teacher and had a limited income felt like splurging and taking us out to eat. The pizza hut dine in location with the buffet on Danforth, anyone remember that place? The 50ยข Tuesdays at North Park theater. The pumpkin cookie at City Bites and going with my best friend as a preteen to see Nutcracker on a chilly snowy Sunday afternoon bc our parents wanted to get us out of their hair for a few hours but we left the show halfway through feeling rebellious, got cinnamon rolls outside instead and then walked around watching the skaters and taking in the downtown sites right before Christmas. Driving through rural Oklahoma in the fall, football season and driving up to Stilly to get cheese fries at Joe's. At football pep rallies on Friday afternoons in the main gym at Memorial HS, Coaches Sammons and De La Garza getting all riled up on the floor with the mic and yelling "We're gonna embarrass them at their own homecoming!!!" And all the students in the stands going crazy. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Ahhhhh the memories! I will always miss and love you OKCโค๏ธ
