Meta memes are not, never where, and never will be banned, but must be creative and interesting.

Memes specifically pertaining to the "low effort/uncreative" flair have been done to death, and will now be removed.

Memes that are nothing but a video of a fat person saying "this is the mods" will be banned. I am over 700 pounds. Healthy at any size.

Check out /r/okmetaretard if you'd like to give genuine feedback about the sub, suggest new ideas, or simply tell the mods how braindead they are.

To be clear, Meta Memes have always and will always be allowed on okbr, but we have noticed a high amount of very low effort, attention grabbing meta memes that appear to be a thinly veiled attempt at karma whoring.

We love hearing what you have to say about the sub, be it in meme form, or a more serious post on /r/okmetaretard. But uncreative memes don't fit here, and thus will be removed. It has nothing to do with us not wanting to hear what you have to say.

According to rule 1, "Meta-posts are allowed, but must follow the rules while remaining creative and interesting." This rule has always been here, It's never changed. I actually quite like meta memes, tbh.

However, we are seeing an increasing number of posts that exploit this rule.

Memes insulting the mods, insulting a new okbr system, or poking fun at meme bans are all still fine, But they must follow all other rules. They must be creative, interesting, and not be formulaic or otherwise boring.
