HELP: Mustang neck on Duo Sonic body issues

okay, so… i bought a 2000s duo sonic 24” scale guitar with 21 frets. neck is fine but i have a NOS mg-65 mustang neck (24” with 22 frets) that i’d like to swap.
the problem is intonation. the stock duo sonic neck is 12” at fret 12 and 12” at the saddle, as expected. but the mustang neck is 12” at fret 12 and 12.5” at the saddle. it does have an extra fret but what’s going on here?
can someone help? is this doable?
