I'm 35/M.
We were together for 8 months. We were best friends, lovers. We were making memories that we could tell our kids about. We were always together, inseparable.
She was the only one I felt I could actually have a future with.
She came over this morning, dropped off a bag of my stuff and said she couldn't do it anymore.
I am beyond heartbroken. I've felt loss before, many times. But this isn't just losing what we had. I feel like I've lost my family.
I don't know if I can ever trust again. I feel emptier than I've ever felt before.
