From the time I was about 3 until I was about 17 I attended my hometowns mega-church. During my lengthy attendance I found myself working with youth groups and eventually started on the path to becoming a youth pastor myself. During the time I was studying and trying to get into Bible college my youth pastor who was then in his mid thirties would become more and more touchy with me and some of the other young men that would volunteer to lead worship. One night at a church lock-in myself and a group of my friends were turning down for sleep when I felt a hand on my shoulder and a familiar voice whisper into my ear, his words awakening me amid my slumber “follow me, let’s pray before you sleep.” He led me into a chapel reserved for marriages. This particular area is normally locked but this evening it was unlocked, presumably for the lock-in. What happened next I have fortunately forgotten with help from my therapist but I do remember waking up, with a severely sore anus and bruises on my neck. Fast foreword 10 years and I am a raging bisexual. I’d like to add that I’d experimented with some friends about my questionable sexuality before this instance and was a “bicurious” individual at the time of this occurrence however I never mentioned anything to this guy and I hadn’t told anyone besides my friends who I had obviously had sex with about my curiosities. In the end he would continue assaulting me a total of seven times to which directly afterward he’d say something to the extent of “god hates f***. Repent or suffer the wrath of hell on earth.” Or “Get AIDS and die q*” my therapist thinks this is the reason why I came out as bisexual which it isn’t. I truly do just enjoy sexual relationships with both men and women. It feels good to finally tell my story even if no one cares to read this lengthy post. Thank you..
