Approximately 1 and a half years ago, I had a stroke near Holbrooke while driving from Wollongong to Melbourne and apparently died on the operating table at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
I had to re-learn things people take for granted, such as walking, talking, breathing, eating and drinking, etc...
I recovered enough to be useful to society again. I am still recovering and probably will always be recovering.
I want to be useful to society again by gaining employment, but I am afraid that my stroke may have caused me to develop PTSD.
I want to seek assistance, but I am afraid that if I do seek assistance, I will become another person on welfare.
Once I am on welfare, it may become hard to get off welfare and become useful to society because not many employees will want someone with PTSD, had a stroke, and has Autism.
