Ex called me after two years out of the blue
Post Body

My [20M] ex who I was in an extremely toxic relationship with in high school and for a little bit afterwards likes to decide that she is bored sometimes and feels the need to check in somehow to make sure that I don't forget that she still exists. She's always stalking me and my loved one's social medias and liking stuff, or making a dummy acct when she finds out she's blocked again. She left me for other dudes multiple times and I was dumb enough to keep going back, eventually I got tired of it and completely cut her off about 2 years ago. Since then it had been pretty much radio silence and I had managed to find a person that I genuinely love and I want to marry her someday. We just celebrated our one year anniversary, which was a big step for me as my first consistent relationship with a sold foundation. Just so happens as soon as my GF posted a happy anniversary post and tagged me in it, I get a call from my ex who I haven't heard from in years. I declined the call because I had absolutely nothing to say to her, but I just can't believe how some people think shit like that is ok. I was so close to forgetting you exist, and you're just mad to see that I'm actually happy for the first time in my life. How are you gonna act like you get to be relevant in my life at all? Just absolutely dumbfounded at her thought process there. It's honestly sad that after all these years I still have to call my family members to check their accounts to make sure my crazy ex from high school isn't lurking around somewhere. That shit mighty pissed me off, I just needed to get that out so I can forget about it. Rant over
