I got carried away and I lied to someone I know

The titles actually everything..so I got through an exam and I was opted for the interview..my family didn't approve and told me it'd be better to stay home..but today someone I know asked me how I was doing and I got carried away cause the congratulated me for clearing the exam and told them I got through the interview too🤦♂️🤦♂️..the guilt trip is real
