Why can people just be decent human being

Online dating is the worst. It’s so dehumanizing and just the wrist what’s the point of putting things on your profile to get me interested so I send an introduction message she ask for a picture and then ghosted. At least have the decency of telling me that you’re not interested. Am I asking for too much?
