I simply don't understand how trump could be so close in this election? How can he be winning so many electoral votes? I've just had a sleepless night and I'm not even American!! I wake up here in Europe to find trump so close to Biden and I'm so angry and upset!

How can Americans not see how harmful trump is both to the US and to the world? He is changing the very ethos of politics at a fundamental level, he is destroying democracy in ways that hasn't been seen in a long time, he is unraveling societal decency, he is eroding basic human rights, he has become a role model for numerous megalomaniac demagogues all over the world! God, the list is endless!!

The US is supposed to be the most advanced nation on earth! How can it be full of such foolish people who cannot see what is good and what is bad? How can people not see that trump is criminally insane and should be locked up in an asylum, NOT be made the most powerful person on earth!

How can millions of years of evolution have led to this? We as a species are supposed to be better than this! We are supposed to be using technology to unify and progress towards a better future for all. Instead, we are regressing. I feel so desperately hopeless right now. I'm actually praying for an alien invasion, as silly as that sounds...
