I don't want to talk to my family anymore
Post Body

My childhood was fine. A bit abusive until I was about 12 and then things calmed down when my dad got sick. He's still around. My mom drinks a lot, but binge drinking instead of constantly. Gets smashed to the point of repeating the same thought quite often. I've had to take care of her a bit when she got too drunk as a teenager. She's also hopped on the pro trump conspiracy train and thinks Bill Gates has been experimenting on children in third world countries.

I moved nearly 3000 miles away and I'm finally free. Only thing I really miss is the mexican food. I don't really want to talk to my mom, but cutting off contact feels too harsh, so I talk to her every 4 months or so. I should probably call my dad more, but he rarely answers.
