Just watched the Twilight Saga and I'm raging
Post Body

Just spent the weekend watching the whole twilight saga for the first time.

Wasn't too bad, minus the awful acting of the main protagonist and issues with vampire lore, I could get past that, as it was easy to watch and the baseball scene was pretty cool (muse probably helped with that).

Then came the final installment. A major battle is on the horizon. Armies are built and battle lines drawn. The werewolves and vampires fighting side by side against the more stereotypical vampires with their capes and sinister motives. I'm getting intrigued now

Battle ensues and straight away my favourite character is killed brutally. Many characters that I was (semi) fond of died and all in all, the fight scene was very good, ending in a really good brutal death for the big bad boss man. I was finally into it, after all the time spent, I was now sold on why this saga was so successful.

Then came the "twist". The ultimate in shitty twists. That 15 minutes we just watched and invested in, yeah that didn't happen. All a vision shown to the bad guy and he just calls it all off. No deaths, no fight, everyone lives happily ever after. Get to fuck! What a waste. All 5 movies ruined in one shitty attempt to suprise and shock. Lazy writing. Haven't read the books, but if that's true to the literature, I would have burned them all immediately.

I'm raging and needed to rant at someone other than my gf as she loves them and is currently reading the new book, because apparently that terrible attempt at writing needs another book.
