Work in NYC Department of Education, have to work from home. My SO can't work from home and her boss just closes the store down for a bit. I sit and work 50 hours a week, week in and week out, my contract is for 12 months. Come to start hearing people making $1,000 a week on unemployment.
I sit at home still working lucky to make over $850 biweekly. Yes I'm fortunate enough to have a job. But fuck it hurts when what it takes me two and half months to make what some people are making in one month, I just can't take it any more.
What is worse is that the same place I work is also the same place I do my school work for my masters, (an additional expense) and it was also the same place I use to try to relax. (Can't do that anymore cause my GPU died).
Kinda feel like giving up...
