It’s my fiancée and I’s “dating” anniversary today, 6 years.

So I’ve been off of Facebook for about 5 years. It took too much of my time, and I was going through some stuff so I decided I was better off without it.

Fast forward 5 years, my close friend gets diagnosed with cancer. Only way he can talk now is through messenger. I decide to get Facebook so I can talk to him. Super low profile, no pictures, different name, no info type stuff. 5 months later he dies (last Thursday). So I change my profile and make it all official so I can talk to his family, we were all really close.

Three weeks earlier my sister had tried to overdose on antidepressants and pain killers. My mother is FINALLY getting help for alcohol dependency and two months ago my fiancée almost moved out because of my unemployed brother living with us. Many arguments were on that subject.

But today, after 5 years of no Facebookand still learning the new platform, I come home to a hell storm of pissed off ol’lady. I ask her what’s wrong and she replies “I just want to be appreciated.” She then begins to tell me how, since I am now on Facebook, I should’ve made a post and liked hers. Immediately after coming home from work.

So after a little bit of a fight, I am off Facebook again. Here sweetie, I made an anniversary post!
