I don’t think I want to talk to anyone about it. But I just want to tell people. So, here, internet. My dad died on Wednesday from a heart attack at age 67. I’m sad. We had a complicated and troubled relationship. He hurt my whole family. But everyone expects me to not be sad and not miss him. But I do. He was still my dad. I am sad.

Edit: Wow everyone, thank you for all the kind comments. It restores my faith in humanity a bit, you are genuinely comforting to me. I wish I could respond to each one and bare my heart but I am emotionally and physically exhausted. Just wanted to say thank you though. And to everyone else who has lost someone close I am sorry to you too. What even is this life.
