I live in a city where there are several streets that have both Major Street East and Major Street West addresses.
We went out a couple times, had a really long almost ten hour first date. Shared meals, hooked up, had lots of laughs etc. Everything seemed great.
Today you wanted to come over and asked for my address. While you've been here before, you couldn't remember it exactly and that's fine.
I typed the address in a message to you and you put it into your GPS. It was the wrong address. Understandable. Maybe the other address came up first. You called me when you were lost and somewhere unfamiliar, and the tone I got was that this was all my fault. "I entered in exactly what you sent to me, I clicked the link". Well I checked, and I sent the correct address. I couldn't even get a word in. I would have loved to apologized for the mix up or offered to come meet you there.
You messaged me saying it was a 20 minute drive to me from where you were. And then an angry message and that was that. Deleted and blocked from social, number blocked too.
I understand how frustrating it must be and how it's inconvenient. But if you're going to end everything so suddenly because of something like that then what's the point in me trying?
Maybe you had some other doubts anyway.
I'll never know.
I called a flower shop near your place and ordered a tropical bouquet. I know you have a love for the tropics and central america. Then I called back and cancelled it.
Even though I had a lot of fun being with you and getting to know you, I don't need to be chasing you around. As much as I'd like to talk about it with you, it's best not to bother.
I feel a lot better after writing this out. And I feel good about my decision to let this go. You clearly want your space, and I'm happy to give that to you.
