his disability makes me worry but I don't know how to help
Post Body

Years before I met my boyfriend, he slipped a disk while working. As far as he's told me, the pain had been manageable. It seemed like it was slowly getting harder to deal with these past couple years. Up until last fall. Something happened while he was working and the pain has gotten much worse. Now it seems to be near constant and it prevents him from being active. He's gone from being able to walk for miles in one day to being winded after sweeping up a couple rooms.

I know it bothers him. It definitely worries me. But I can't just tell him to see a specialist or two (I'm assuming he'd need a chiropractor and a PT). He doesn't have the money and I don't make enough to foot the bills.

I'm so sure that treatment would help. I hate seeing him hurting the way he does. I feel awful not knowing how to help or even if I can...
