My cat was just killed.

I am completely distraught. My best friend was murdered less than two months ago, and Lucas (my cat) has been the main thing to help me get through some really tough times. I'm so tired of losing people (and animals) I love. I had already lost 7 very close friends/lovers and all my grandparents before my best friend. This fucking sucks. Life is dumb. I'm sitting outside, and the owls are going crazy. Maybe that old superstition is true. I wonder who will be next?
