Is it just me or does every one of my birthdays end up being pretty much isolated, because none of my friends are ever around? And when I see them online, by a stroke of luck, I won't start a conversation out of fear of having ulterior motive: 'Hey, look at me, it's my birthday, worship me!' rather than me genuinely missing their company. Which I do, very much, and won't get to spend any quality time with them in person until late September and I was already gone since beginning of August.

I would like just one birthday with the people I hold dear, just hang out with them, watch a movie, make dinner and do silly things all day long.
