I found out via text that the girl I'd been seeing has a boyfriend. We went on a few dates, made out at the end of the last one. We shared a lot of common interests. Hockey (playing and watching) and history (specifically military history, more specifically WWII) to name a couple of the biggest. She was the first girl I've ever kissed. The first girl to make me feel like I'm not an unattractive, worthless piece of shit.

I had no idea that after I walked away, still with the taste of her lips in my mouth, that it would be the last time I'd ever see her.
