I know my life is better ever since I walked away from you. I don't miss you, per se, but I do miss what you were. I miss having someone to have inside jokes, and hushed discussions about things happening around us with. I miss having someone who understood me. I miss being around someone who, inexplicably, enjoyed my company. I miss having an open line of communication with someone who wanted to help and liked to hear me talk to them. I don't want you back in my life, but it'd be cool to find someone to talk to again.

This is not something i'd normally do, but sometimes you really do need to just write something down when you can't deal with it.
