Soooooo I (33F) matched with a 43m on a dating app. The messaging back and forth wasn’t amazing but he intrigued me in some way. He mention he was on the spectrum and I was totally okay with that. My mom works with adults who have autism, so I learned stuff over the years. Our third date, he showed up with a shirt that his belly was hanging out of, shoes untied and I just thought, idk if I can do this. All three dates lacked good conversation. I figured we were both not that interested. I left the date without the urge to want to see him again. I honestly thought he felt the same, because he didn’t flirt and/or express any interest during the 3 dates. When I text to say I don’t see this going anywhere, he seemed caught of guard. He told me he didn’t flirt/express any interest due to the difficulty in social situations. Even though he was married for a decade and has kids. I actually felt bad after. But I cant see myself having the patience to deal with someone who has such a hard time expressing themselves.
