Coworker passed away
Post Body

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share something that’s been weighing heavily on me. About a month ago, my company hosted a company wide BBQ where a coworker organized a 3v3 soccer tournament. Tragically, during the playoffs of the tournament, an associate from my department went in to cardiac arrest on the field and passed away. Myself and another colleague performed CPR until medical staff arrived, but it was too late. To make things even more heartbreaking, the guy’s entire family was at the BBQ.

It’s been an incredibly tough time for us, and the morale within my department has been really low. Personally, I’ve been struggling a lot with this, especially given the amount of loss I’ve faced over the past two years. I just wanted to share this with you all and thank you for reading.

Take care of yourselves.
