Yes, I know I said I wouldn't provide an update, but I am. This has been going on for almost a year now, and about 5 months from when I first posted about it. I haven't heard from my neighbor's little dog in months now so I have to assume the worst. However I've also been dealing with a separate issue with another tenant and another dog, but same situation (animal abuse).

I'll leave it at that because I've retold this story so many times to the point of mental and emotional exhaustion. I'm just so tired of dealing with this but the worst part is the hopelessness and powerlessness I feel. I never did get that transfer out of my unit but now I'm trying to transfer out of the entire building.

I've lived here for over 4 years and gotten into 2 fights so far and have had my mental health questioned numerous times. The one year "anniversary" of when this all began just passed and I don't know how to feel about it. All I want is for the truth to come out and justice to be served.
