I missed out on the genetic lottery that's meant to run in the family
Post Body

At 20 I'm 5'8 and very skinny.

Every man in my family is at least 6'1 and all have slightly muscular builds. Even as someone who works out a lot I'm not even close to that

This insecurity defo comes from how I actually grew the quickest in my family - I reached my current height at 13 and everyone around me including friends and family would say 'you're definitely growing much taller when you're older'.

Nearly 10 years later and I haven't. I grew full body and facial hair by 14 which was weird af in school and not as cool as u think.

This is just a vent of mine that does really get to me, especially since it's so common to see men over 6' where I love.

NOTE: yes it's true I should be grateful for not being really small, but imagine being given false hope your whole teenage life that you'll be at least as tell as everyone in your family. That shit still sticks with mw
