If you're walking with someone in public and someone is coming towards u, MOVE TO THE SAME SIDE AS WHO YOU'RE WITH
Post Body

Living in London makes this more frustrating but I'm sure it's in loads of other places in the world too.

Scenario: it's a small pavement/sidewalk, you're a walking by yourself and sticking to on side, but there are 2 people talking to each other and walking towards you. They both SEE you coming towards them, but make the tiniest amount of effort to give you space to walk past so you end up having to use the road to get around them.

Another scenario is one I saw recently where a woman who looked like she was in her 60s was walking down a staircase at a London Underground station and 2 guys who looked like they were in their 20s wearing black puffer jackets and hoods were walking up. They saw her coming but they kept looking down, and when she slowed down in case they'd give her room, the guy BRUSHED past her which made his arm push her and he kept walking like normal.

Honestly so many people were clearly not raised to be aware of your surroundings and be respectful of other people when in public. Even if I'm having a deep convo with close frienda and someone's walking towards us, I either quickly go to one side or tell my friends to come to my side.
