Long story short, my ex and I of 3 years separated recently because she admitted to cheating on me. Her and I got into an argument and she insisted that she wanted some space for a little bit. I asked her if she wanted to see other people during that time. She said she didn't. Not two days after that she got drunk and slept with some guy at a bar and then ghosted me for a week. We met up later at her place where she then dropped the bomb on me that she had cheated on me. She also told me she saved his number and has been keeping in touch with him. I have been cheated on before she she knows that, and obviously the past has really hurt me. I eventually yelled at her, calling her a some her words and telling her that I hope he fucks her over the same way she fucked me over. Yesterday we chatted for the first time in a few weeks. I want to see past the cheating and start over. She says she can't see past the things I said and that they have made her numb, and I feel terrible and remorseful for how I handled the whole thing
